The cable itself may be defective or damaged. Try using a different USB cable to see if the issue persists. If the problem goes away, it indicates that the original cable was the cause. In that case, replacing the cable should resolve the problem. Ensure that the USB cable is securely connected to both the device and the computer or power source.
As per my title, my monitor keeps randomly disconnecting. It's connected to displayport via the USB-C output on the laptop. I have updated all drivers, firmware and bios and have the latest windows 10 updates. The only way to get the monitor to turn back on is to disconnect the cable and plug it back in again. Any help is appreciated! Cheers!
Some of the methods I've used to try to fix the issue are as follows: Fresh reinstall of Windows 10. Followed this guide on reinstalling Synapse. Bought an externally-powered USB 3.0 hub and plugged the headset into there rather than the PC (assuming it was a power draw issue)
Mar 6, 2023. #3. Might sound obvious but in device mangler>human interface>usb input device>properties>power management see if allow power off is selected' There will be more than one usb device listed. Check them all. Also could look for any usb or mouse events in both device mangler and event viewer.
Method 1 Disable and enable the USB root hub. Use Device Manager to disable and re-enable the USB root. This lets the controllers recover the USB port from its unresponsive condition. To disable and re-enable the USB root, follow these steps: Click Start, and then click Run.
